How to Pick the Right Day for your Webinar

One measure of a successful Webinar is how many people actually attended. Scheduling your event for the best day possible can positively influence the percentage of people who attend your Webinar.

Mondays are often stressful and filled with meetings, so are usually best avoided for that reason.

Fridays are usually another poor choice because people just want to get through the day at work and start their weekend.

Our experience shows that Tuesdays and Thursdays are usually the best choice for holding a Webinar, at least without specific factors or evidence to the contrary. The best time of day for a nationwide audience is 1:00 PM Eastern time. Mid day is generally free of meetings and attendees can join during lunch.

To actually find the best date to schedule your webinar, why not ask the people you invite? Consider adding a ‘best day?’ survey question to your webinar registration form.

  1. Thank you for this post, these are great tips! It never occurred to me to put a "best day" field on the webinar registration form...brilliant! My partner and I present webinars for translators and we have attendees from all over the world, so we're always trying to find the right time slot! Thanks for your helpful blog.
